The color you want. That’s the job of the GRAFE DESIGN CENTER. Our creative minds are inspired by all the senses. In this way, they set trends. Our colorists recognize the smallest nuances with a trained eye and can create optimized color formulations using their many years of experience.
PROCESS OF DESIGN CENTER
Over 10,000 individual color creations a year impress our customers worldwide.
COLOR DESIGN
Our high-quality color masterbatches are created on the basis of individual color templates, color measurement values from the CIE L*a*b* color space, international color standards such as RAL, HKS, Pantone and NCS. But not only do we develop around 10,000 new colors a year, we also launch projects that emphasize the diversity of colors.
PRODUCTION PROCESSES
We develop our color masterbatches for all conventional processing methods (injection molding and extrusion of e.g. profiles, sheets, films and fibers) and for all thermoplastics, including highly filled grades. We are able to simulate almost any production process in house.
AUTOMOTIVE COLORS FOR MOBILITY SOLUTIONS
An elegant interior, tasteful fittings and unique decor – in cooperation with OEMs we develop thermoplastic images of all vehicle interior colors.
PACKAGING COLORS
The safety of the packaged product and an attractive appearance do not have to be mutually exclusive. We improve protection while emphasizing the uniqueness of your packaging.
CONSUMER GOODS
Plastics are real all-rounders, they are used almost everywhere in our daily lives. The perfect coordination of color and product-specific properties is one of our particular strengths.
TECHNICAL GOODS
We are able to implement your product requirements and also to refine them with brilliant colors. You can rely on our experience, which we have gained over almost 30 years of working with technically sophisticated products.
BIO-PLASTICS
We are also demonstrating our expertise in the coloring of bioplastics. In this context, we are increasingly specializing in coloring renewable biodegradable plastics – both by using commercially available carrier systems, and in particular on the basis of renewable or biodegradable systems. In addition, with the product Biocolen, we offer a masterbatch to provide improved performance for packaging manufacturers.
